President - Brian Crawford
Mr. Crawford is the creator of the Open Consortium™ Model
with the first implemention now in process with the Trans-Caribbean
Cable Company (a subsidiary of Telequity Group). With more
than 20 years of expertise in undersea cables, Mr. Crawford
has participated in all aspects of cable network design, planning,
construction, operations and maintenance. While with AT&T
Submarine Systems (now Tyco Telecom), Mr. Crawford was involved
with the construction of more than 10 undersea cable projects
on the supply/vendor side. After moving over to the owner/operator
side, he was involved with the creation, financing, management,
and/or operations of 5 other projects while at AT&T Communications,
Pacific Gateway Exchange, and New World Network. Mr. Crawford
holds a BSE (Systems Engineering) from the United States Merchant
Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York and an MBA (Business
Administration) from the University of Phoenix. He is a father
of three, an Eagle Scout, and an Officer in the U.S. Naval
Reserve.
Director - Jeff Fleisher
Mr. Fleisher is an 20-year telecom professional with more
than 10 years focused in undersea cable; specializing in licensing,
permitting, construction, operations, and maintenance. He
has direct licensing/permitting/supplier management/operations/
maintenance experience in ARCOS-1 (while at New World Network)
and personal engineering/construction/ implementation/project
management experience in AC-1, SEA-ME-WE II, PAN-AM, ANTILLAS-1,
BUS-1, APCN, CIOS-TEFKROS-CADMOS, TPC-5, QCC, HAW-5, and PAC
RIM EAST (while with AT&T Submarine Systems, then becoming
Tyco Submarine Systems). Mr Fleisher holds a BSE (Systems
Engineering) from the United States Merchant Marine Academy
at Kings Point, New York and an MS (Industrial Engineering)
from Purdue University. He is a father of two and an Officer
in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
Director - Neil Habig
Neil Habig is a Director at Telequity Group. Mr. Habig has
20+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry,
including many years specializing in undersea cable. Mr. Habig
managed the deployment of several major undersea cable projects
for Tyco Telecommunications, including ANTILLAS-1, AMERICAS,
BUS-1, PC-1, SEA-ME-WE-3, TAT-11, and more recently, the Pacific
portion of the Tyco Global Network. Mr. Habig holds a Master's
degree in Telecommunications Management from Stevens Institute
of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
from Villanova University.
